Creator of FREE Landlord & Letting Agent app wins coveted Property Week award for the 2nd time

Property Manager of the Year
It's been more than three years since Ringley, creator of Planet Rent, last won this prestigious award. However, they didn’t stop there. With a combination of instinct and foresight, they developed a game-changing Build to Rent (BTR) portal and Residents App. Now, they are about to release it to every landlord and Letting Agent—completely free. Last Thursday, Ringley Group stood out among 12 shortlisted companies and won the highly competitive ‘Property Manager of the Year’ award.
A Word from Ringley Group’s Managing Director
“It is constant and extremely hard work keeping thousands of residents happy daily in the leasehold sector,” says CEO Mary-Anne Bowring. She highlights that the challenge will increase 20-fold when operating blocks in the BTR sector. High-end rental complexes demand premium service levels, and institutional investors require efficient management to ensure financial viability.
Revolutionizing the Build to Rent Sector
Ringley recognized early on that modern technology is crucial in managing BTR properties. They developed an all-in-one app to streamline key processes such as move-ins, contracts, repairs, utilities, and events. By eliminating paperwork and reducing admin costs, they have set a new industry standard.
The judges summed up Ringley’s offering
In 2017, Ringley took its BTR capability to the next level. According to the company, it is the only managing agent to bring forward a ground-breaking BTR model, building on 20 years estate management experience and culminating in its 150-page BTR Guide. Ringley's vision is to help create a new asset class, akin in community to student living, but with the brand consistency of, say, Premier Inn. Judges praised the modern approach and strong growth.
The Planet Rent App: A Game Changer
The Planet Rent app will soon be available to private landlords and Letting Agents. This innovative platform resolves the tenant fees ban issue by offering a free service with pay-as-you-go contracts. Ringley’s dedicated IT team has worked tirelessly on this unique offering, receiving strong praise from competitors and clients alike.
Why Ringley Stands Out
Ringley is not just another property management company; they are pioneers in the BTR sector. Their approach integrates technology with estate management, ensuring seamless operations and top-tier service. Their efforts have earned them not just awards but also recognition from industry professionals and investors.
Judges’ Verdict: Ringley’s Vision for the Future
In 2017, Ringley took its BTR expertise to the next level. They are the only managing agent to introduce a groundbreaking BTR model, backed by 20 years of estate management experience and a 150-page BTR Guide. The judges praised Ringley’s innovative approach, comparing its community-driven model to student living but with the consistency of a well-established brand like Premier Inn.
